On 2nd August 2025, the Selby Foundation Network will be donating Sanitary Pads at Agona Abodom 2025 Akwambo Festival , where we distribute sanitary pads to girls and young women in the community. This initiative is part of our OhemaaBa Pad Project which aims to support menstrual hygiene, reduce absenteeism in schools, and promote the health and dignity of girls in rural areas. The event will bring together community leaders, educators, and volunteers who will help us in educating beneficiaries on menstrual health and breaking the stigma around menstruation. Through this donation, the Selby Foundation reaffirms its commitment to improving the well-being and future prospects of girls in Ghana’s rural communities.
